    Co-founder and president of Ask Mona

    Marion Carré is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, lecturer, and artist whose work explores the intersections of art and artificial intelligence from multiple perspectives.

    She is the co-founder and president of Ask Mona, a pioneering company that has been applying AI to spark curiosity and expand access to knowledge since 2017. The company has partnered with over 200 cultural institutions and brands across more than 10 countries, including the Louvre, the Orsay Museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Palace of Versailles, the Colosseum in Rome, and the National Fine Arts Museum of Quebec.

    Marion is the author of several books, including The Moving Walkway Paradox: Resisting Intellectual Complacency in the Age of AI (2025, JC Lattès) and Who Wanted to Erase Alice Recoque? In the Footsteps of a Forgotten Pioneer of Artificial Intelligence (2024, Fayard). She has also contributed to numerous articles and academic publications.

    Since 2019, she has shared her expertise at Sciences Po and Sorbonne University, where she teaches one of the first lectures on art and AI.

    She has served as an expert for various governmental bodies. In 2025, she was appointed Ambassador for AI & Tourism by the French Minister of Tourism for the national plan Osez l’IA. In 2023, she joined the five-member Strategic Committee for Generative AI in the Cultural Sector, appointed by the French Minister of Culture. Since 2022, she has also served as an expert evaluator for the European Commission.

    Marion is a frequent keynote speaker at major international events, where she shares her insights on art and AI, including at UNESCO, the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit, ATxSummit in Singapore, E-AI Montréal, London Night of Ideas and during the Belgian Presidency of the Council of Europe.

    Her artistic practice, showcased in exhibitions in France and Scotland, reflects on the impact of emerging technologies.

    Passionate about fostering the next generation, she is committed to supporting young talents and cultural entrepreneurs. In this capacity, she has been an ambassador for several French and international initiatives. She is also one of the 20 Ambassadors of the French Touch, contributing to the global influence of French cultural industries.

    Marion has received multiple distinctions, including being named Chevalier (Knight) of the Order of Arts and Letters (French Ministry of Culture), inclusion in Forbes 30 Under 30 (France 2022, Europe 2023), the Blooloop Top 50 Museum Influencer list (2022 and 2023), and the Medal of Honor of the City of Paris (2018).
